The rainy spring of 2011 took a much-needed break for one of the most important events
in the lives of our young people, the reception of their First Holy Communion and
the establishment of their new relationship with Jesus. Starting with a meeting
with Father West in the former convent chapel, the sun shone upon them as they processed
into the church with the mariachi band at the lead. A more beautiful and angelic
sight than that of these beautiful girls and handsome boys in their respective Communion
dresses and suits was almost impossible to imagine. Our many thanks to Laura Glazier-Smith
for the pictures of this most memorable day.
