On All Souls Day, November 2nd, 2006 a lovingly-constructed temporary altar shrine was set up in front of the St. Joseph shrine in the church. On this altar shrine, those souls of parishioners and family and friends of parishioners who left this world over the past year were memorialized. A handwritten list of the deceased is left there as well as pictures and mementos. The fruits, breads and other foodstuffs represented the foods enjoyed by the deceased in their lifetimes on earth. This touching and heartfelt shrine remained from All Souls Day through November 18th.
